Today was my second visit to Friendship Village to visit "my little girls". I swear visiting them gives my heart such joy. They are some of the sweetest little girls. They welcomed me with a fully decorated room (with my favorite color pink), and posters. Hopefully I can visit them again some time in the near future.

I got my first car!  It's burgundy red and fully loaded baby!  I didn't get home until about 11:30 but it was definitely well worth it.

I can't even express how upset I am. I wanted to run at the Tidewater Conference for Independent Schools track meet today but I didn't qualify. I only ran in one track meet & you had to have run in at least two. I would have placed though in shot-put. UGH!!

I got to visit "my girls" again!  It was suppose to be a pajama night for the girls. Of course the boys wanted in on the fun & festivities but they were not allowed. It was so much fun. We put on make up for each other, did each others nails, and even had a "fashion show".

Today my mother and I went to support my grandmother by going to her church's carnival. I was able to meet some of her friends and interact with members of our community. My mother and I later visited my grandparents at their home, where I was able to meet my baby cousin for the first time. She is the cutest little thing. I didn't hold her though, I was too afraid I would drop her knowing my somewhat clumsy self.

Mrs. Sigmon, Michaela Sigmon Miss American Coed Pre-Teen's mother, invited me to perform a piano piece at her recital.  I practiced a few times before the students and their families got there and it went very well. I got up there to play and lets just say I have played better. All of the students did a great job with their performances. I am very grateful that Mrs. Sigmon invited me to perform because it was a great chance for me to get use to playing in front of people other than my parents. It's nice to know that others are thinking of me and willing to help me prepare for state.

Today I was able to be a part of the Dillard's fashion show! It was small and I only wore one swim suit, but it was still a lot of fun. I saw Miss Virginia's Outstanding Preteen 2006, Emily Hasty, and she was also a "model" for the event. Dillard's supplied myself and the other girls with different accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, sunglasses and totes. I loved the bathing suit I wore. It was so cute, it had black and white almost snake skin print with red tie up bands. I wish I would have bought it now, maybe I will go back and get it. :) Oh and today I attended an old friend's graduation. That may have been the smallest graduating class I have ever seen, I think there were only fourteen graduates. It was good to see him again and hopefully we will be able to hang out again like we did when we were much younger.

Today was my last day of school! THANK YOU JESUS IT'S OVER!  With an entire week of exams I am ready to just crash. My excitement will be short lived because I have my first day of work from 9 to 5 on Tuesday, June 10. At least I will be making some money... that I will be using mostly to pay for my car payment and gas.

Today was my last day of work for the week. It was a very relaxed and slow day. I went back to Ruby Tuesdays to get the Carolina chicken salad again. That salad is RIDICULOUSLY delicious. Oh, and I finally got my glasses! I was so excited, they make me look SO intelligent, ha. I plan on wearing glasses almost every day until Roanoke just so I can keep my eyes as fresh as possible.

I had to take that ACT test at Oscar Smith High School today. I drove myself and I was so proud of myself for not getting lost. Of course blonde me stood in the wrong line for at least 20 minutes to get to the testing room. The funniest thing about it though is that a kid fell asleep right in the middle of one of the sections of the test and started snoring. ha ha. I thought that was so funny. Very soon after starting the ACT I decided that I like the SATs MUCH more. Once the test was over I went home to get ready for the PARTAY! By the time I had gotten changed and gotten to Helen's (who is the best pageant director and friend anyone could possibly ask for) I was drained beyond all reason. The party was a lot of fun though and I am very appreciative of all the gifts that were given to me and I hope everyone liked what I purchased and/or made for them. Of course as soon as I got home I tried on EVERYTHING I could ha ha.

Today Elizabeth and I went down to the Hurrah Player's studio to practice walking and other things. We actually got things done as we listened to an old Spice Girls CD. Later we went down to the beach and had "sister bonding time". I had a great time today and The Purple Cow restaurant was a great way to finish off the girls' day out.
