Reagan's Platform: P.L.A.Y. Promoting Literacy Among Youth
Join Reagan as she collects books, new or used, and distributes them to less fortunate people or organizations; places like children's waiting rooms, daycares, or hospitals. Be on the lookout for information about events Reagan is arranging for National Read a Book Day in March 2008. Click here to learn more about this program.

St Matthews Catholic School
Reagan solicited the help of the Student Council Association at St. Matthews Catholic School for help with P.L.A.Y. She asked each officer and representative to read to a class on National Read Across America Day (3/3/08) and explain the importance of reading. They were very excited to participate & earn community service hours in return.

Read Across America Day, Chesapeake, VA
Reagan organized for all classes from preschool to third grade to have a student reader that day. The students were very excited to be selected as a reader and the teachers showed their enthusiasm too.
